My name is Muhammed Wasim, hailing from Pakistan and currently immersed in my cross-border e-commerce studies at Nantong Vocational College of Science and Technology in China.
China, with its rich history and civilization, has not only been instrumental in aiding my homeland but has also embraced me with warmth and assistance. In 2023, I embarked on my educational journey in Nantong, China, navigating the cultural nuances and immersing myself in the vibrant Chinese community.
In November 2023, I faced a challenging time when diagnosed with swine flu. Alone and ailing in the hospital, the bitter cold seemed to seep into every corner of my being. My plight took an unexpected turn when a newfound friend, Ellen, selflessly provided comfort. She went beyond friendship by presenting me with a collection of cozy home textiles – a fluffy blanket, a thick quilt, a milk velvet duvet cover, a bedsheet, and pillowcases, transforming my dormitory into a haven of warmth. Ellen’s kindness not only alleviated my physical discomfort but also mended my weary heart.
This episode of compassion inspired me to ponder the plight of countless others worldwide who lack such benevolence. Determined to extend the warmth I experienced, I joined forces with Ellen to create the “More Warmth” website. Leveraging my cross-border e-commerce expertise and Ellen’s insights into Nantong’s home textile industry, our mission is clear – to bring high-quality, comfortable home textile products from Nantong to individuals in need across the globe.
“More Warmth” is not just a platform for selling home textiles; it’s a testament to the power of kindness. We offer a range of products, including customizable home textiles, spreading the warmth we received to every corner of the world. What sets us apart is our commitment to giving back. With every order, we pledge to donate 1% of our profits to the Hope Project, contributing to those in need who may lack the means to experience the comfort and love originating from China.
